  • When selecting either Move to a different SEP group or Quarantine using SEP from the Workflows section of the Specific Endpoint report or the Specific Malware report, the SEP groups are listed alphabetically.
  • When selecting either Move to a different SEP group or Quarantine using SEP     from the Workflows section of the Specific Endpoint report or the Specific Malware report, the SEP group in which the computer is found, is shown.

Symantec Protection Center 2 is a centralized security management console that enables organizations to identify emerging threats, prioritize tasks and accelerate time to protection based on relevant, actionable intelligence. Through a combination of process automation and security intelligence, it enables users to take timely, targeted action to remediate incidents and proactively protect key systems and information assets. Unlike other solutions, Protection Center 2 delivers context-aware security management by mapping data from enterprise security products together with early warning alerts from the Symantec Global Intelligence Network,

Release notes for 2.1 MP1 can be found here: http://www.symantec.com/docs/DOC5418 and include a list of items resolved in this release, as well as known issues and workarounds, if available.

For customers without LiveUpdate capabilities the update files have been made available as manual updates. Please refer to http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH176838 for more information about the update process and links to the relevant files.
